Daniel J. Cohen, JD, MBA
Owner & Managing Director
Daniel has been an investment advisor since 1997, with both small and large money management firms. Prior to joining MacroView, he was a Director at Chevy Chase Trust. Throughout his 20 year career, Daniel has focused on fixed income investments and their importance in an investment portfolio.
Daniel brings to MacroView a strong appreciation for the value of flexibility in managing investments in a multitude of changing macroeconomic environments. He looks at financial markets critically, and believes in a top-down investment approach where demographic, societal, and economic trends are key factors in portfolio management.
Daniel's work for a client goes well beyond the prudent investment of assets entrusted to his care. He works with clients to formulate an overall financial plan that includes an analysis of a client's complete financial picture. From the technology crash in 2000, to the financial crisis in 2008, Mr. Cohen has proven to his clients the value in this approach.
Daniel graduated in 1985 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree. In 1989, he graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Business Administration.
